L-AGS, in cooperation with the Pleasanton Library,
maintains the largest collection of genealogical materials in the Valley.

The Pleasanton Public Library offers access to Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest On-line and the New England Historical Genealogy Society at the library.
Access to Heritage Quest On-line is also available from a patron's home.

Livermore Family History Center

The LDS Family History Center at 950 Mocho Street in Livermore (map) is open at the following times:

 Monday   

   9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday   

   6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  Saturday   

   1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Pleasanton Family History Center

The Pleasanton Family History Center is located at the Pleasanton LDS Church, 6100 Paseo Santa Cruz, on the corner of Valley and Paseo Santa Cruz (map).
The building faces north and the entrance to the library is on the east side. The center is open at the following times:

Tuesday

     9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Wednesday

7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Saturday

    10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Other times available by appointment.

The Pleasanton FHC offers access to Ancestry.com.

Oakland Regional Family History Center

The  Center is located at 4766 Lincoln Avenue in Oakland.
Facilities include an "extensive collection of microfilm and microfiche, several thousand volumes of books, directories, research guides, local histories, family genealogies, and periodicals,
and free access to some of the most popular and extensive online genealogical databases in the world."
